In the Special Sale of Seal Cutting by Modern and Contemporary Chinese Masters on July 5th, 2010, a Tianhuang seal carved by Shang Jun was sold at a high price of RMB 5,500,000, which indicates a nice opening of the study series. After the seal cutting sale, inkstone, tea set, and incense utensils are also welcomed by collectors. In this four-day spring auction, aimless price bidding was not seen, but only rational bidders. On the first day of the auction, the hammer price of a painting and calligraphy by Ni Yuanlu reached RMB 18,500,000, which reflected the judgment of the auction house.
